A shout out to Brook Jolley (ksigmtsu) for being a dialer badass. He set my office up with vicidial servers, and they now supports 15+ users making 4000+ dials a day. He helped us integrate it with our CRM, and is quick to help us modify our dialing logic when needed.

If you are looking to increase production and using a dialer to do it, call Brook as he has proven that he knows his stuff!

And no, Brook didn't pay me to give him a review!

Interesting and thanks for the post. What CRM are you using? Are your callers setting appts or selling by phone?

We built our own. leads come in, are assigned based on availability and logic, then pushes to vicidial to be called by that agent. Worked with Brook to come up with a badass logic set for when and how many times to call leads based on past and recurring data. Basically, only placing calls when clients are statistically expected to answer. The whole process is plug and play now...I hire an agent, and they sit in a chair and wait for someone to answer.

Doing this allowed us easily the ability to double lead volume per agent. Now my agents handle 700+ NEW leads a month and sell 100+ life apps each. they place half when the declines, and NTOs are factored out.

Dialer was a game changer and allowed us to remain pretty profitable with purchased life leads.

sounds like you guys are doing well. half of the business is not placed? that seems like a lot that is falling off, are these fully underwritten? I assume you aren't just writing FE on seniors.

No, most is F/U. Very little FE business...mostly term business. We are a pretty good sized DM. You can do an app but some people cancel their exam, then some get declined, them some don't take the approved offer....in the end, roughly half of the upfront sales place. Pretty typical of my space.

Sounds pretty exciting!

So are you now getting 700 leads per month x 15 agents - 10,500 leads per month, 100 sales per month per agent x 15 = 1500 sales per month and placing 750 cases per month?

What's the average premium on cases like this? thanks

I assume these are internet leads. I can't help but wonder if some of your contracted agents are buying leads from the same source putting you in competition with them.

With better technology, you could be writing business out from under your contracted agents.

Please let us know why I'm wrong.
