GEP is in Q1 of the year. Part B will take effect in July.

Only exception is if you qualify for an SEP

Wait, did they change it back? I just told a guy yesterday he can apply in Jan to start Feb

Old rule was enrollment Jan 1 thru March 31 and started July 1.

They changed it a few years ago. Same enrollment but starts the 1st of following month. Did one last year under this rule.

Haven't done one this year though.

Oh wow, didn't realize that. Haven't done a GEP in years. Last several years all have been T65, or SEP
