Lead Costs Will Lower?

Supposed to hear about this next week.

Read my prior posts on this subject.

Just cuz you got your balls snipped doesn't mean prices go down.

I have it from several lead vendors they will be reducing payouts to affiliate networks, they expect less agents being able to afford internet leads.

If you pay $7 per lead now and they drop it to $5, expect the lead to be very old or shared with 20 agents and you of course will be cursed out on every lead.

Pick the phone book up and start cold calling.

whats the difference than like they being sold to 20 agents now?....i think all the health agents should quit as I dont think they will make it with new commish...unless they enjoy making $300 a week

Would be nice if it was more like $4, like back in 2005 when I used to buy leads from vimo..had some nice profit margins..can i get a $3.5? yeah f*$#@! right!

Trust me, if they go from selling a lead from $7 to $4 there will be a loss of quality.

Lead costs will not be lower - from many contacts I have with lead vendors. A bit lower? Sure. Significantly lower? ($8 to $5 being a 38% decrease) - nope. If you see that kind of drop in price your common sense should kick in.

What is costs to generate a quality lead does not change because our pay got slashed.

Your exactly right the lead costs will not drop just because we take a dip in pay, but I will say as we evolve more online and get hip to how marketing with search engines like they do their revenue will take a hit. People are getting more savvy with the ads online this month alone I have had more people call my office for quotes rather than fill out quote forms from my sites..

The cost to develop a lead might go down, if enough agents drop out of buying them. The PPC cost is demand driven, lower demand, lower rates per click, lower lead cost.

Again, you are probably talking pennies, not dollars, in the final lead cost.

Problem is, you'll still get the incentived leads, just fewer leads from people shopping insurance.
