Pick one company at a time and read the individual product info sheet. Then compare.
What specifically are you trying to accomplish? Are you looking for ideas on positioning or more product-type information?

Well the you can do what RonRoberts suggests above or work with an independent wholesaler. In addition, you could sign up with an FMO. Most websites that you can see comp on are likely pay sites but you may be able to get a free trial. I know that Annuity Rate Watch - Annuity Rates, Riders, Illustrations and Quotes for the Annuity Professional charges 9.95 for a three day user login where you should be able to find out a lot of info.
Btw, comp is going to vary greatly (1-8%+) depending on product type, age of the client, state you're writing in etc.

Does anyone know what the average rate on a fixed annuity is now adays?? 3% is pretty good right?
3% is a fair average for multi-year guaranteed annuities for someone who is younger (under 80) and buying one with a common (5-7 year) surrender schedule.
Traditional fixed can be higher and fixed index even more so.
