Let Every American Have the Same Health Insurance As Congress

this is a brillinat strategy.
why not let every american have access to the exact same health insurance that congress has.

it's brilliant.

Breitbart.tv Issa Bill Would Extend Federal Health Benefits to All Americans

I have heard some Caifornian Hale-Bopp Democrats say again in the last few days that Cuban has the best system. If so, why not set our sights higher and go for the best. Why not a bill that says that every American will be guaranteed the same level of health care that every Cuban gets. Barney should like that because if you get sick you end out sharing a bed with two other men.

Brilliant - Yes; Realistic - No. Congress's health plans is heavily subsidized, where would all the extra subsidy money come from, inquiring minds want to know. Oh wait, we're America - we can make money out of thin air. I forgot about that part. Ok, let's do it! I, for one, would love to stop paying for my month health insurance and have uncle Sam pay for it. Oh...... this isn't going to affect my taxes is it? I want the health care benefits, but I don't want any extra taxes; can we do that? Thanks!

That is what its all about, isn't it? Somehow society has become convinced we can get something for nothing. Right now, Congress is the pushover parent, and America is throwing a temper tantrum, demanding a cookie. Once again, politicians are going to give us the cookie while we both ignore the consequences.

it's easier to give us a cookie and set us in front of the TV than to deal with the problem. Heaven forbid we should have to do any real parenting and governing, why not just let them watch another episode of Jon and Kate +8 and just deal with it later.

this is a brilliant political move.
and it's pro-private insurance, because that's what congress has. each federal employee has a choice of a wide variety of group medical insurance policies.

for those congresspersons who vote "no" against this, they are telling avg americans that they (congress) will keep the best coverage for themselves and leave the crumbs for the rest of the ocuntry.

for those congresspersons who vote 'yes' they are voting 'yes' to private insurance.

its' a brilliant political move.

it perfectly demonstrates the hypocrisy of those advocating for 'health insurance reform'.

I wonder if all of those wally's in Washington realize that if they vote to pass the public option, eventually the insurance companies who currently insure them, will go broke and go away.
Then they will be with the general public, with a crap, overpriced plan.

Just a passing thought.
