Level 1 / Level 2 Plan Rates UHC/AARP

In Georgia there are no "group 3" rates. There is Group 1 and Group 2 rates. Within Group 2 rates there are Level 2 rates for those who answer 'yes' to any of the health questions in Section 6.

However, in this case, the answer to 4D on the application would be 'yes' which means you skip the health questions and would get the Group 2 rates, but not the level 2 rates.

Again, this is based on Georgia and would mean even if this person had health issues he could get a Plan A, B, C, Select C, F, Select F, K, L and N at the standard rates. At age 84, a Plan F would be $220 while the Level 2 rates would be $330.

Hello NBurton,
Since he is within the 63 days he will qualify for a guaranteed issue plan (any plan C or F, MOO you can get a plan G). As far as AARP is concerned, if he has part B since 1991, he will not qualify for group 1 or group 2, he will qualify for group 3, at level 1-because he will be guaranteed...
Hope this helps....
