Oops, didn't see the life policy part. Yeah, as long as the app is signed in a state where you're licensed, it's all good.

The policy has to be written in the state where you are licensed. If the applicant signs the policy in CA, you should be ok... Solicitation in states you are not licensed in is a violation...
