Life Insurance Cold Calling

If it takes a digital boom for you, you really need to ask yourself is this a profession for you? It's full of major rejection... is the rejection really worth it?

Hello,
In 2022, with all the boom that digital marketing has, cold calling for the life insurance industry is worth it?
Thanks!

Hello,
Do you mean that if there is a digital boom, there is also a boom in rejections?
If there is a boom in rejections and it is worth continuing in the profession, it is also worth doing cold calling.
Am I right?
Thanks!

When I was door knocking FE leads I would get an earful at least 2 or 3 times a day for showing up unannounced even though I had a reply card. So these were warm leads and they got upset so knocking cold would be even worse. I hate the phone so I could not imagine calling from a list. People here won't answer the phone so it would be tough. If you enjoy cold calling then you should keep doing it.

Cold calling life insurance isn't for everyone. I did it for a period of time and had a decent ROI. Sometimes the leads are oversold but I had no problem getting into homes.

also Rousemark nailed it - many of the top earners are constantly cold calling.

I don't consider calling on leads (if you are talking about a true lead and not just a list of names) to be cold calling. Cold calling is calling on someone that has never expressed an interest that you know of in what you have to sell.
