I'm certainly not a life insurance expert, but aside from GUL (which is basically term until you die), why would the rates for permanent insurance be something you'd need to quote?

There is so much more involved with permanent insurance - dividends, cash value, etc. The premium is the least of the issue.

It's apparent you're new to this. You might want to look the Independent Life Insurance Agent Assocication for some training.

Yes, you're correct. Life is new to me. I've really only sold Medicare products and only that for about a year.

I just watched the first couple videos at that website. I should be looking out for who's got the best products i.e. no paramed, e-app, riders, financial rating?

You can ask your brokerage to do it.

For me rate does not tell the whole story, content of the policy does and will.

My suggestion is provide a quality plan with good rated comp. if you really care about them.
