Lincoln Heritage Lead Program

Hello-I am new to this forum and new to the Senior Market. I am considering getting into FE with Lincoln Heritage's lead program. Does anybody have any advise on this?

Go ahead and jump in. There is pro and con advice on this site, about LH. On the other hand there are some LH agents making good money.

The biggest need of a new agent is the right manager-trainer. That's what will make or break you, that and throw in your willingness to work.

Best wishes.

You might want to read that contract very well before signing it. Unless they have changed it recently you will find under the commissions and vesting part that any renewals falling below $250 per month they keep! No, it's not a type...that is PER MONTH! That's one of the worst contracts that I know of.

Yes, I learned that the hard way with them!

Here is what my contract says, "We will pay compensation due under this agreement to you or your assignee We will not have to make any compensation payment of less that $100. but will instead accumulate compensation payments until such minimum is met. You may designate a beneficiary to receive your compensation ...

Have I missed something?

Then I must stand corrected. It was still the way I said it was as of February of this year, so they must have taken my going off on them seriously! :twitchy:

Either way...they screwed me over and no matter what the contract says now...I'll never give them another chance by selling their overpriced FE product.

It is still that way. I also learned the hard way. My renewals and paythru was $230 last month. They did not pay it because of the $250 floor. Same for this month, it was $225 and they kept it.

They do not roll it over until you you get to $250. I had this discussion with LH in Nov. '09. I told the lady it was legal stealing. She agreed with me that it was and then she caought herself and said,"wait, what did you say?" I told she knew what I said her first reaction was an honest one and I understood how she had to backtrack to cover her ass.

As far as someone else posted about it being $100, that's a minimum for current commissions if you are active. If doesn't apply if you are not active with the company.

They are legally stealing my commissions right now. I wrote some policies in Jan of this year when I was paid as earned. Those policies are still active and premiums being paid, yet, LH does not pay me because it doesn't come to $250. If I were still active with them, they would pay.

I would never write for them again. Even to get the money is owed to me now.

On top of that, they will do everything in their power to steal your clients once you put them on the books. They will send mailings trying to sell them everything under the sun and, if that person buys, they will not cut the agent of record in any part of what they sold.

I can go on and on about that company. This is enough for now. I will respond to the question about their leads. I've used NAA leads, EMG leads, EFES leads, my own mailer leads, dialer leads, internet leads, newspaper leads and LH leads. I have had success with all of them. I had the least success with LH leads.

Was that with LH's: TV leads, DM leads, policy holder leads, sweeps leads? If you analyze why the other Co.'s leads, as well as your self generated leads, worked better for you than LH's leads what would be the reason(s)? Thanks in advance.

From LH, I got mostly their mailer leads, but, I did get their TV leads, their newspaper leads and some of their policyholder leads, {they were good, btw}.

I don't really know why their leads are bad. Part of it is the lack of info on them. Part of it is the demographic, they don't have an income filter on their mailings.

The best leads I've ever worked, by far, were NAA leads. I'm not a lead guru, so, I don't really know what goes into a good lead. I just know from my experience which ones work for me.

I also don't recruit, so, I don't have dog in the fight to promote anyone's leads.
