Lincoln Heritage Lead Program

I've replaced my share of them. I have a friend that just started selling for them right in my back yard. I figure that's just feeding the pipeline.

You might want to read that contract very well before signing it. Unless they have changed it recently you will find under the commissions and vesting part that any renewals falling below $250 per month they keep! No, it's not a type...that is PER MONTH! That's one of the worst contracts that I know of.

Yes, I learned that the hard way with them!

Sounds like the Parker & Asses school of management...

Hello-I am new to this forum and new to the Senior Market. I am considering getting into FE with Lincoln Heritage's lead program. Does anybody have any advise on this?

I thought their TV leads were good.

I did not like their Mailer leads.

Their prices are high.

But they have perks to the policy that make it valuable to some clients.

Honestly, I have a need for them once in awhile, but I would never want to be captive with LH.

That doesn't mean some guys don't do well with them...

They do have a system and if you work hard, it should work as good as any other.

I have only replaced a handful of my LH policies and every case was where the person called me. LH threw a fit on everyone of them and threatened to take me to court and to demand repayment of all past commissions.

They also sent a a nasty letter to those that did replace and then they sent an untruthful letter to every single one of my clients. That kinda backfired on them as I got plenty of call because of that letter.

I'm sure that they could not make their claims stick in court, but, going to court and winning would cost me much more than they owe me. That is, obviously, their game. They know an independent agent cannot afford to take them on in court.

I know of another LH agent in Texas that they sent the same disparaging letter to all of his clients. He was going to sue them, but, was discouraged from doing so. I know of another LH agent here in Ky that is scared to do anything with LH clients because of the threats they made to me. He won't even replace a LH policy that was written by someone else out of fear that they will claim collusion.

Their scare tactics have worked. I'm sure they are quite proud of that.

Could it have been your upline manager doing the threatening rather than the Co.? Who was your upline mgr.?

Thanks for all the information. I'm one of those LH agents that threw the contract in the draw without reading all of the details.

No, it was not my manager. All the coorespondance came directly from LH headquaters. Thaey did the same thing to at least two other agents that I know about.

They are a terrible company. You can't put lipstick on that pig.

Lincoln Heritage is out heavily trying to recruit more funeral homes to sell their pre-need funeral insurance. I know of at least 3-recent funeral directors that stopped the sales presentation cold when they asked the pitchman "What about this Funeral Consumer Guardian Society program where you try to make the funeral home look like a bad guy and threaten to ship a cheap casket in on him?"

The Lincoln Heritage guys are all saying they have never heard of that program. HAAAAA! I call BS on that one.

LH works every angle. They do direct mailers and tell people they will save them money by cutting out the insurance agent. They tell the funeral directors they working for them to build their business. And they tell their FE agents to basically sell against the funeral directors.

I don't know how they keep all those plates spinning at the same time.

So, you are going to replace or try to replace the policies your friend sells? What kind of FRIEND are you?
