I just spoke to a lady 71 nt just took out a policy with Lincoln Heritage says she is paying $ 18.00 a month for $ 5,000 ( Ohio). I know this can't be right. What would the actual price be? I'm thinking she only has $ 2,500

They would be about $40. She doesn't have $5000 with LH for that price or with anyone else. RNA would be about $28/mo.

She may have been told that she has a $5000 whole life with somebody, but, she doesn't.

Even their "preferred whole life" wouldn't do it. It stops at age 70. :nah:

maybe she has that AD they offer. I have replaced so many policies by one guy in this area. He said they would get one thing and end up with another i.e told they are getting 15k but have 10k WL and 5k AD.

I hear that! Sometimes I think I am an OVERPAID janitor b/c I have to clean up so much of that MESS left behind. Mostly however, I feel like a true Educator who is watching out for the community.

Lincoln Heritage would be $39.95 for $5000 coverage on a 71yr old female, NT.

Remember, it comes with the Funeral Consumer Guardian plan and they claim that they will save you up to 40% on your funeral.

I usually use this benefit when writing an 80 year person and they can't pay more than $30 bucks a month. I will sell them a $3k policy and then explain to them how the Funeral Consumer Society works and how it will save her family thousands of dollars... it adds value to the small policy and makes an easier sale.

The person can buy an affordable life insurance policy from a better company and then buy the FCGS for $5.95/mo. direct from FCGS.

I agree that the FCGS can be a good value for it. Just no sense paying LH extra for it.

Yeah, I agree; however, it doesn't usually fly -- too complicated.

For some reason, when its already combined into the policy, they like it.
