Liver Transplant and LTC

Has anyone ever found a LTC carrier that would ever consider a liver transplant (20 years ago)? I come up with no one. Even Transitions asks about any treatment for liver issues in 3 years....and the client is certainly on anti-organ rejection medication....so it is considered treatment.

No one really likes transplants in general...other than corneal or maybe a kidney.

Art? Vermont?

Thanks

Herman,
I have a good friend who had a liver transplant 15 years ago and I'm constantly on the lookout for a policy for him. There's not a carrier on the planet who would consider.

National Life of Vermont will decline because a liver transplant is uninsurable for life insurance as well as LTC.

Thanks.....luckily the healthy husband in this case still wants to talk about coverage for him. His dad had and used his LTC insurance, which always makes my job easier. I just hate it when I can not get the whole team covered.
