Hmmm, yea. I had a feeling you'd come back with something like that. It's my fault for trying to have a sense of humor with some people.
Oh, you were making a funny??

Nothing in particular. Just habit now to log into it everyday when I'm checking all the other sites.
I try to stay away from my DOIs site. When I go there I tend to find confusing info like them posting it is illegal to door knock a seniors door (obviously when I called them they had no guidance on how to tell it was a senior behind the door).
My DOI told me that they give no guidance at all... they arent allowed to... this was from a senior investigator in the life division.
All he was allowed to do was give me the section of code that pertained to my question.
When I asked him for the DOIs definition of a certain term within that code, he told me that they are not allowed to give guidance or opinion on the sc insurance code.
I asked him who can, and he tells me to hire a lawyer who specializes in insurance litigation to advise me!!
But, he said that if there was a complaint against me that he was then allowed to give opinion about that section of the code as it related to the complaint.....
Keep in mind that this guy just happened to be a former agent and was well aware of the absurdity of the conversation.... he was also the only life investigator in the office who had ever worked as a life insurance agent
