If a person has a joint replacement, gets ___X?____ months out after surgery and the surgeon then gives the procedure a clean bill of health, will that person be able to qualify for regular LTCi or Hybrid LTCi ? or will the joint replacement cause an automatic decline for those types of coverage?

No issue with full recovery....physical therapy done....etc......3-6 months fine. Always ask about the cause of the joint replacement...ht/wt...etc

also, make sure its not the 3rd+ joint
