Do you need to have CLTC Partnership Training in order to sell LTC insurance?
Thanks. I have my license to sell Life & Health Insurance and I am appointed with at least 5 long term care carriers. I just read though on a website that you have to have your CLTC in order to sell it?

You do not need the CLTC designation in order to sell long term care insurance.

The CLTC designation is valuable training but not required by any state.

You do need to meet your state's training requirements.
