Hey guys,
I'm a newbie here. My insurance agent of 4 years decided to get involved in other business and discontinued his all state agent license. So now, I have been using the "AllState Call center" but I'd like to have a good agent.

I need a reliable and honest agent who will listen to me and take care of my auto loan(s). So, if you guys know any good agent in NJ (preferably South jersey as I live in atlantic city. But away from south jersey in okay too. as long as they are in NJ), please let me know. Thank you in advance for your time :)

She said take care of her auto loans. What is going on this forum is getting weird post lately. Look for a local bank for your auto loan. NJ bank or us bank...:goofy::swoon:

Really, we should be glad when people come on here looking for an agent. No need to chastise them for that.

But its common sense to go to google or a carriers website, if you notice, this was their first post, which means they went thru the effort to google to find the forum, go thru the process of registering and then making a post.

They could have went to the carrier site and got 10 names within the time it took them to go thru the process I just stated.

Simple Common Sense

Haven't you ever noticed, people buy from captive agents tend to like the personal touch? Perhaps she felt that people here have been vetted by the forum, and she is more likely to get a quality agent that way.

I've gained tons of knowledge from this forum about various companies. Sure, I can and did google them. But this forum gave me information I wouldn't otherwise get.

Well go to Allstate.com then find an agent..This will give you a list of allstate agents in your zip code. Then call the one you like and talk to them. If you like them then ask them to submit an agent request form to be your agent. I would love to help you, But I am in CA.

Good Luck:yes::yes:

Volagent,

I will agree with you, but say there is only 1 agent here that could help this person and they are a hundred miles away?

Hard to have the personal touch that way,

My point is simple, but i also understand what your saying

I believe they asked for a "good allstate agent". Just going on the internet does not mean that they will find a "good" agent.

Re: Looking for a Good Allstate Agent in NJ (preferably South Jer

If I recall in NJ the broker relationship is a little different for Allstate, and brokers can become Allstate agents. I don't know if that changed or not but it was something I picked up when I was in the Allstate call center.

BTW, if you use the call center, they can use the agent locator and find an agent for you, too. The agent can be assigned your policy, become the agent of record, and everything. So maybe that is a better place to go.
