Looking for a Reliable, Reasonably Priced, Appointment Setter

Sit percentage and conversion rates don't pay the bills, money does.

Odds are, you won't sell at the same percentage at first as the appointment is now your first contact with the people. In time, you should be able to get that back or close to where it was when you set your appointments.

However, if you now generate more profit per week, then you are ahead and should keep using her.

I am starting out part time, but have 3 solid, consecutive, days per week to dedicate to this business. I just feel that I need a decent appointment setter to help me maximize the time that I do have. If anyone has any suggestions, please post or PM me. Thanks a bunch!

You can try posting an ad on craigslist and call each candidate that reply's to your post. Even if they have no telemarketing experience, there are GREAT appointment setters that have no telemarketing experience. Good traits to look for in individuals that could be very successful in appointment setting would be someone who is enthusiastic, have a great voice, outgoing, has a lot of confidence and can handle rejection without it running their day! You could also try open interviews at a local college. You could bring a basic script with you and have them pitch it to you, if they have the confidence to do this in person, then they should do well on the phones too. Many young students are looking for part-time work that will be flexible with their class schedule. Also, students can be very eager to get started in a professional office!

If you prefer to speak with the prospect prior to meeting with them, then try calling to re-confirm the appointment the day before. This can help you get a feel of how to approach the prospect since you weren't the one who actually spoke with them in the first place.

If the goal is to undo the set appointment then yes they should call to re-confirm. I can't imagine why anyone would want to undo the appointment but that would work.

I never call to confirm unles the drive is 40 miles from where I am working or if its the last appointment of the day and I have already had a big day. I call to confirm if i want to let them off the hook!

To the original poster. Will you be calling off a cold list or from a lead that they already expressed interest in?

It can get costly to pay an apt setter on top of the lead cost you have already invested in. If they don't have experience, I would never have them call my leads first since the apt setter could burn through leads you paid a good amount for. First find out how they sound on the phone and do on a script calling a cold list with a dialer.

Josh can help you out on this forum if you need a list and dialer.

Idiotic post. Who confirms set appointments? You obviously never sold insurance. :D
