Looking For an SEO Expert

Re: Looking For A SEO Expert

From my experience, about 75% of SEO is off-page backlinks, 25% of SEO is on-page SEO/content... so I guess that leaves about 0% for domain name. Who were those experts you hired that said domain name was important? I would stop listening to them immediately!

As an update, I'm already on page one for the search terms I wanted. How did I do this in such little time? Help from STIBROKER (I think) and the URL itself has the keywords in it so it works great. If someone says the domain name is important, they might be right. I didn't spend much time on content at ALL.

That's not at all the same project. Those sites are in limbo now waiting to get transferred to a new site host.

Way to be an ass for no reason!

Also, when the sites on my signature are up I get about $100/month in adwords just for hanging out on this forum, I think that's more than most folks get paid for being on here.

Having a keyword-relevant domain name won't hurt, but I guarantee that if a site comes along with some random domain name and targets your keywords with a superior on-page/off-page SEO campaign, then your domain name isn't going to make a difference. Google wants to see relevant content on the page and backlinks from authority sites. Only in the most uncompetitive keyword search will domain name make a significant difference.

That being said, if you are already on the first page of Google for the keywords you are targeting, then I am happy for you, and I hope you stay there. (Just don't think your domain name will keep you at #1 ;) )

Anybody who has an interest in getting their website listed on over 60 search engines in less than 24 hours, check out site below. It is my own replicated website and I know nothing about SEO and techno mumbo-jumbo, but joined this brand new MLM group trying to broaden my opportunities outside of insurance.
If you go and you like, you can join....or not....but at least you know. The choice is yours.
