LTC Rates on the Rise?

This is really not my focus but I have a handfull of sales a year.

Quoted out a two individual with Metlife and it looks like rates have gone up.

Since January, 2009, Met Life has released new rates on new business for their VIP2 Series LTCi policies. The new rates apply to new business submitted in 24 different states. The other 26 states still have the older VIP2 rate structure. Sounds like you're in one of the 24 states.

I haven't noticed any change in their rates here in Ohio. But, Hancock's rates went up quite a bit in Jan.
