Mainly for New Agents, Near Perfect Company

Perfect Scenario in random order:

* Independent over captive
* Free or low cost leads
* Company paid E&O
* Ability to use office if needed or free to use home office
* Street (non-assigned) commissions (above street if paying a portion of lead cost)
* Subsidized mailers
* Use of dialer system at low or no cost
* Company paid initial licensing for many, if not most, States
* All the training you could ever want at no charge

Good list. Only one that I wouldn't put much importance on is company paid E&O. Not that it wouldn't be nice to have them pay for the E&O but usually that means the E&O is onlyu good for the plans you write under the upline.

I'd like to know what is a perfect scenario for an agent to join a new company? Not so much a "carrier" but if you were to make a move...what are you looking for. What is it that would make you say. "YES...I NEED to join that group?" In fact, list pros AND cons. It might be nice for a change to have the vets sit back on this one at least for awhile, and lets see what is said before it gets hijacked and a poster is afraid to say what they REALLY think.

1.Access to Med-High net worth clients.
2.Ability to work independently.
3.Back office support.
4. Fair commissions
5. Absolutely no bulls***t

Here's the problem: the "new" agents have no perspective - they don't even know when they're being screwed.

And heeeere's where this Thread starts to take a tumble. LOL Are you purposely just trying to provoke tonight or something?

FINALLY! #5!

Though I'm sure a couple are going to have fun with my response...I am a bit shocked that it took this long to say this. I hear from so many agents daily about the "lies" they were told as being part of their failure if not the main reason.

Though I hire and train, I too have uplines. I too have been told so much BS yet we still..."I" still fight through it to make my own success. THAT is why I shoot straight.

Amen bro. Straight shooters only! And it only takes a 5 minute conversation to figure them out most of the time.

The "best defense is a good offense" philosophy doesn't work with me. Just keeping the BS artists honest.
After 22 years in the business, I've found that those who "shoot straight" don't need to "remind" anybody. They just shoot straight.

He has to say it about himself because no one else will say it about him.

UTOPIA, and that no one would steal your customers and a ROLEX

I think a "ride along" with an experienced agent would be invaluable. Free leads would be great too. But, that isn't realistic.
