Male, 68; Diabetic, Had Cancer and

May be but he is talking marketing talk now, not real world talk.

Call what you want. The agent asked for a different plan. He said "had cancer". Was that 2 weeks ago or 10 years ago? He's on dialysis, is that 3 times a week, 3 times a day, or is he end stage? We write dialysis a lot if they aren't terminal or end stage. He may not qualify that's why I asked questions. Similar policy, similar premium would you rather make $530 or $960 on an $80 premium? The $530 has a one year charge back, the $960 only charges back unearned commissions in case of death.

I may have to get some info on that product. Is it 2 yr ROP or 3? what issue ages?

He is the RD for the Final Expense Division of SNL.. I would say he knows what he is talking about.

I have written a couple deals with them. All went very smoothly. Had one that wanted $35,000. Vantis only went to $15,00. I talked to Tommy and she fit their plan. $25,000 and close to full comp the rest went to Vantis. He is a stand up guy.

Can u tell us more about this product? In what scenario of dialysis can a person can be put on anything other then ROP? And if u say the premiums are about the same....what would the premium be in this case? Whats you cancer lookback period? And what carrier is this anyway? Thx

I second that my fellow inebriated friend. Tommy is a stand up guy. Plus, SNL takes up to age 85 on their very competitively priced graded plan, and up to 90 on the level plan. Not always the magic answer, but always worth looking at as an option, whether the person is healthy or not.

TDFnCali,
The plan I have for this case would be ROP. I didn't say it wouldn't be. He asked for another option. We do accept dialysis on our Graded(ROP) plan. It's with Security National Life(SNL). Someone receiving dialysis 1, 2, 3 times a week is fine assuming no other issues. End Stage Kidney disease is not fine with us. Your milder cases of dialysis we will accept and pay more commissions than GI plans with a shorter chargeback period. Those GI plans are taking very, very little risk in the first 2 years. On cancer, after 90 days of being cancer free and 90 days from last treatment we can write ROP. After 2 years we can write cancer Preferred. The premium in this case would be $87.64.
