A lot of good advice on here, glad I found this site... I am cold calling for most of my business for 65+ but, I would like to market to 59-63 and get them as a client so I will have that trust when they turn 65. I came from underage health sold that for 5 years and dont care to sell it any more. Any
Ideas on marketing FE to 59-63 would be great. I dont buy a lot of leads most of my sales come from cold calling. I'm not sure if you can cold call for FE, I think that would be very difficult.

This is how Mark Rosenthal Sells Ins. <--- Click Here. This is how I get my foot in the door, and this will work for you also. This idea uses Free Living Wills to get the client to allow you to come out and help them and that is 50% of the job. It will also get them talking about death and their family members.

Contact me, if I can go over any of this with you, or help you with some prospecting ideas.

Thank you.. i have learned more from that post than 5 years from my manager. Thanks.... What type of script would you use to cold call for this I can see that once you get started you get a lot of refferals from it.

One of the biggest avenues agents miss out on is getting their current client's children. This in many ways is an untapped market. Include the children during the presentation or while delivering the policy. I personally do this while I am delivering the policy, unless the client requests differently. I have found this to work very well.

If you read another one of Mark's post you will find that he sends solicitors to funeral homes during visitations to put flyers on the grieving's windows.....Just Kidding but it could work.

Mark are you still trying to pitch your services on here? I thought we were suppose to rise above the temptation of doing such awful and terrible things.

You are welcome.

http://www.rosenthalfinancialservices.com/_downloadz/sample_FreeLivingWillLetter.pdf <-- Here is a prospecting letter that Tony Jackson made that you can use.

I'm not sure about the cold calling script. Just remember to keep it simple. All you are doing is offering a free services and trying to get the appointment.

Mark thanks for your help... I printed up the living will and will read it and contact you if I have any questions. Thanks again for you input, its nice to find agents willing to give ideas often time they want to keep any good ideas to themselves.

Another tip for cold calling is to simply smile when talking on the phone. I have a mirror that I put on my desk when making cold calls. believe it or not that prospect on the other end of the phone line will sense your demeanor.

Are you the one in the picture smiling?

that would be our new baby girl Cesceli, Last year our 3 year old asked santa for a little "Brudder" and the best we could do is another precious little girl. Little did my wife and I know that we were already pregnant when she asked. Funny story thanks for allowing me to share.
