FRANK, or any other long - time Med Supp writer.....What would you consider to be the top 5 most affordable carriers for Med Supps?

It varies by state. What is competitive in one state may not even be available in another state.

Why is it you are asking these questions when you are offering contracts to agents? Aren't you an expert in what you do?

Anyone in this business for more than 20 minutes would also know that the question is ridiculous. You need to narrow your question to state and even zip code.

However, since you offer so much to those who contract with you, perhaps you want to answer your own question.

How do you justify offering your expertise to others when you ask such a stupid question? Do you have any experience selling insurance?

SO TYPICAL of you to be an A**. If I did not mention a state, it was an obvious question on a broad level. That is why I posted the question primarily to Frank.

I was sure of 2 things. If you or a certain other responded it would be based on a spelling error or an unanswered question.

Once again you have displayed your sarcastic "Guru" or is it GOD complex.

Probably not a god complex as I'm an atheist.

However, I have proven to understand insurance and add some value to this forum. You, on the other hand, offer nothing.

Well, you do offer contracts obviously based upon your years of experience. Is the ink on your license even dry?

I think it is the one from the carrier that is the least expensive.

What a dumb-ass question.

It really is a state specific question and the answer today for an individual state may be totally different for that state in a few months.

I expect the new Standardized Plans are going to have all new premiums. Right now in Missouri, in some zip codes, National States has super rates for their Plan D. When they announce the rates on the New Standardized Plan D that could change.

There are going to be a lot of changes and I'm sure some confusion for a while. Agents are going to have to carry two different rate sheets for the same company. One for the new plans and one for the existing plans. Existing plans can be written up to and including May 31, 2010 and agents can begin writing the new plans as early as December 1, 2009.

One company could be both the most competitive and least competitive in a given state between December 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010.

Typical response. Take a lesson from FRANK. It never hurts to be professional and polite no matter what situation arises.

Remember, I was asking for an expert to respond!! FRANK was able to answer this "vague" question very professionally with courtesy.

I may have come on too strong offering services for which you are clueless and got some hits from members because of it......but you get slammed on a weekly basis for your professionalism, courtesy, sarcasm and communication skills.

I can live with that...just don't know how you can!

When you've been in the industry for more than a couple of weeks I'll be happy to take your criticism. I've been licensed since before you were born - maybe before your mommy and daddy were born. I have no patience for absolutely stupid questions from people who are pimping their services.

Go to medicare.gov and download a few of their guides. Spend several hours reading them. If you have specific questions about Medicare, then post them.

There is more to this industry than just telling other agents that you can offer contracts. I offer contracts with UHC and most life carriers, but you don't see soliciting other agents on this forum like you do.

I promise that if you ask another academic/stupid question I'll respond the same way. Ask an intelligent question and you'll get an intelligent answer.

Hope this helps your recruiting.

Rick
