Med Sup Rates

When you've been in the industry for more than a couple of weeks I'll be happy to take your criticism. I've been licensed since before you were born - maybe before your mommy and daddy were born. I have no patience for absolutely stupid questions from people who are pimping their services.

Go to medicare.gov and download a few of their guides. Spend several hours reading them. If you have specific questions about Medicare, then post them.

There is more to this industry than just telling other agents that you can offer contracts. I offer contracts with UHC and most life carriers, but you don't see soliciting other agents on this forum like you do.

I promise that if you ask another academic/stupid question I'll respond the same way. Ask an intelligent question and you'll get an intelligent answer.

Hope this helps your recruiting.

I have to hand it to you James. You've been here less than two months and have less than 150 posts and you've managed to piss most people off. It took me well over a year and well over 1000 posts before I was able to accomplish the same task.

You might be able to beat Rick on the golf course, or at the tables in Vegas, or even on the mat, but he is one of about 50 out of the 10,000 guys here who has forgotten more about insurance than you will ever know. He hardly ever mentions it but he has a resume and a pedigree both wide and deep. I know because I checked.

And when it comes to Medicare, he is an expert. He and Frank S. OWN Medicare here in "forum-land." There is nothing they don't know or can't find out (in a New York minute.)

Rick is like a zen master or a Bhakti guru when it comes to topics relating to this industry and for that alone, you really must show some respect. You don't have to like him (few do :-)) but when he speaks about sales, insurance, and especially government programs, you need to simply be quiet and listen.

You've gone and pissed him off. So tell me how that is going to work for you? What are you going to gain from that?

There are only two guys here that I know of who can make you a success in the Medicare market and you've screwed yourself with one of them.

If I were you I'd buy Frank S. a large Starbucks card and a herd of goats... kiss his a$$... because from what I can see he's about the only friend you have left on this board. (Which, of course, is one more than I have!)
