Med Sup Telemarketing

I can't even teach my dog to roll over. Can't imagine trying to teach an autodialer to sell.

Do you mean a predictive dialer system that would replay a message, if you like it press 1 and if you want to be removed from our list press 2?

I don't think auto-dialing seniors is legal anymore.

:nah:

It is not legal to call anyone using a recorded voice that says press 1, or anything else. It became illegal on Sept 1. 2009.

you must talk to someone live first and then put them in a voice message if you want to make it legal. So instead just call and talk to the people.

Not using an autodialer, but we do use a "speed" dialer to call internet med supp leads faster than most of the competition. That brings us on the phone with someone that's actually interested, in a quicker fashion than most people can dial. This gives an advantage from technology - but not really an autodialer.

Is anyone using a autodialer to sell med sup?

Learning to use the phone to market Med Supps is a learned, well practiced art. It doesn't come naturally to most people.

I suggest you develop a smooth, conversational phone presentation first. There is a learning curve to doing it correctly. Start out slow, I still "stick my finder in the hole and turn the wheel". You are going to make mistakes, learn from them.

Once you have it fully developed then you can look into some kind of automated dialing system. Mistakes are not going to automatically correct themselves by making more and more successive phone calls as fast as you can.

We're talking about two different things here.

Frank's talking about prospecting by telephone.
I was talking about using internet leads where they're already interested and it's a shared lead. First one to the shared leads wins.

When you're prospecting, take as much time as you want to get them on the phone. When you're competing, it makes sense to eliminate the competition when all you have to do is press a button to be talking to the one requesting information and wanting to buy.

.

I have worked plenty of shared leads in the past. I stopped using them a long time ago for a very specific reason. It isn't necessarily the first person who calls them that gets the sale.

If I were going to buy any kind of leads today I would want the ones that were at least 6 to 18 months old. Those are going to be my best prospects.

Regardless of how quickly you call them, if you don't have a smooth phone presentation when they answer you are nothing more than the typical agent who says "you don't want to buy any insurance from me do you"? It is still going to depend on what you say and how you say it.

It is easier, simpler and more cost effective for me to generate my own leads. If one can think of a way to sell Med Supp I have tried it and most often done it more than once.

It certainly is simpler, no doubt.
