Med Supp Direct Mail?

Winter, I tried this method last week and I was happy with the response. Got a mailing list from a carrier that I had earned some marketing credits with. 248 names in my county. First of the week I send mailers to about 30 of them and on Friday evening and Saturday I run by (only those addresses) to introduce myself and ask if they got my info and do they have any questions. That gets the conversation started, and so far it appears to be working well. Everyone has their preferred method, door knocking has always been mine. But now I've started combining that with the mailers. That way they can put a face to the mailer and it's no longer junk mail but a conversation piece.
