Can someone pls tell me the best place to get a call list for Med Supp. Just starting out and can't afford the cost of leads or appointments. Thanks for the help.

I buy mine from Lead Concepts. leadconcepts.com

I have purchased from other companies but I like Lead Concepts because their data seems to be more up to date than some of the others.

I still remember what it was like just starting out back in the dinosaur days. What I did and you can still do is take the white papges of the telephone book. Start in the A's and go all the way to the Z's. Look for people that have older fashioned first names like Orville, Gertrude, Francis, etc.. These types of names were all popular during that era.

It won't be 100 % accurate, but it will be 90 % accurate and it's free, and you have their phone number and you have their address. You can do a lot with all that info.

Good Luck,

That is exactly the way I started. I was "promised" leads. The day I picked up my supplies I was also given my "leads".

My "leads" consisted of a voter registration list and the suggestion that if I was in an area where I didn't have a voter registration list I should get a phone book and look for "old" names. It not only worked, it worked extremely well.

I haven't tried it for a long time but I'll bet I can still sell Med Supps out of the phone book.

The most successful agents are the ones who learn how to prospect. Anyone can sell insurance once a qualified buyer is located.

I have heard it said that when using the white pages it is best to start at the back with "Z's" and work your way backward. It seems that nearly everyone starts with "A's" and very few, if any get to the back of the telephone book.

Wouldn't working a Haines Criss-Cross be more efficient since you could work by street, neighborhood instead of calling all over tarnation? Unless your village is 100 people or less.

The Haines worked very well in the past and still does, especially for concentrated mailings.
