Med Supp / Part D - Who Should I Contract With?

You need to learn about the products first then figure out who has the best deal.

On the other hand, if you're only looking for the highest commission, well, you'd be Tom.

Find the Med Sups with decent companies that have the lowest rate in the states/zip codes/counties you want to sell in. Rates in many states vary by zip codes, some by counties and some are state wide. So the answer to your question can vary by zip code, if you are asking what is best for the client. If you are asking about which pay the best commission, I don't know, and never looked at it that way.

Part D rates vary geographically also. In general I look at what is the lowest price premium without a deductible. I find very few instances where that criteria does not fit most clients. Coverage through the gap is ambiguous at best, since most generics are $4 with or without Part D or in or out of the gap. Part D is not as complicated as Medicare and the pharmacies try to make it, for the typical senior.
