Am I reading this correctly in that you would push Standard over Gerber because the commissions are "awesome" and "beat Gerber by a mile"? Even with a premium that is $26 more per month?

Definitely not! I was just imparting information, that was my only intent. I guess I gave "too much" information. But, if Standard Life becomes competitive in Michigan I may just move there.
I have never sold nor recommended that an agent sell insurance based on the amount of commission.

Family Life is online in many states other than MS. I have personally done apps in Delaware and Maryland. Standard Life's is the easiest though. Standard Life is A rated and if they have good rates in your state they are an awesome company to deal with.

Never!.....I find that hard to believe! Yea right! And you dont pick your nose either! Anyone thats in this business very long sooner or later will have commissions influence his way of thinking. I know Im not perfect but 95% of the time I do not let commissions dictate what companies I show to clients. But there have been those times. I dont like myself very much for doing it which shows that at least I have a conscience which is more then I can say for most insurance agents Ive ever met.
