Medi-Cal Dental

A few dentists have told me that Medi-cal will re-start full dental coverage eff May 01st.. We all know how what happens in CA often spreads to other states. Anyone hear anything in their state about covering more than just extractions and soon to be covering all dental services in Medciaid or Acess or whatever its called in your state ?

Many states are not as foolhardy with public $$ to throw at poor people/illegals. This may start there, but that I doubt that it would spread to others.
I looked under denti-cal.ca.gov and indeed found that medi-cal will cover certain dental procedures. Some things never change.

Some politicians love to spend other peoples money. Even with HUGE unfunded liabilities, some California politicians look at a one year surplus and see vote buying programs. Give Jerry Brown a little credit for at least wanting to use some of the surplus to put toward debt.

I found the information that you were looking for: denti-cal.ca.gov. It looks like they will be bringing back some of the old benefits starting May 1st. They'll never learn. :(
