What is the best way to generate GOOD Age-in and SNP leads. I have tried Telemarketing companies and they are horrible. I am a secure horizon ICA.

Does anyone know if MGA contracts are available from Secure Horizons and how to get them ? What is the overide ?

A lot of health insurance agents find the regulations associated with the Medicare Advantage market extremely annoying.

You may be able to work a deal with some of them. I've seen some strong opinions about the red tape involved in selling these policies on this forum and heard them in face to face discussions with other agents.

If you want to win over agents with a good book, you will have to both offer them some financial incentive and prove that you are a professional with integrity. However, my bet is that you will get some takers if you approach individual health insurance agents who are not in the Medicare market.

MGA contracts are available but you need at least 20 agents and some production. If you want good leads a golden bullet is referrals! Other than that, you really need to be careful about telemarketing companies and lead generation systems. Some do actually work! Shoot me a message or e-mail and we can go over more details about what you've tried and what you haven't and see how much I can help. I can also try to get you a good contract with someone that can get you a managing agent contract and let you grow into an MGA.

Friend save your money MA is a mess you do not need. If you are gona sell it, only do it on an as needed basses and do not waist time and money on leads or the mess that will follow. I have saw many agents looking for contracts here for MA and will not even think of putting this on someone now. Maybe the new administration will do better maybe not. Good luck though if you do it.
Jim, Are you the "Jim" from "Taxi?" "I have saw?" I don't usually comment on proper English, but what are you smoking? Also, You actually think the new administration is going to make MA plans better? If anything they want to eliminate them. Why do you think these plans have grown during the Republican administration? The elephants are for privatization and the donkeys are NOT. They will pay less capitation to these plans and you will see many companies leaving markets. It's not going to get better.:nah:

I *highly* doubt the MA business is going to get easier, but it is and will likely to continue to be profitable. One of my agents today legitimately earned $2,080. Another agent makes about $1,500/week part time. I'm not saying that it's for everyone, but there is definitely a lot of money to be made!

I was just posting about that and I agree. Having a more diversified portfolio than just Medicare Advantage is a really good idea. Med Advantage might last another 20+ years, but in case it doesn't I'd still like my agents to be able to earn a good living.

Money that could go to enrollees? I don't think that's what the government has in mind, but I'm sure they'd rather have it!

Mega did you have any luck? If not send me a message and I might can work out something with you. I have actually done the prospecting for them for the past 4 years until the recent no cold call change. But I will be happy to help you if you want to send me a message.

So, is there a good lead broker or source to buy age-in lists? Who?

Age-in lists are inexpensive, 10 cents/ name and number on small orders and you can get them just about anywhere. Try tlclists.com or e-mail me and I can get you in touch with others. My next order will be 1 cent per record because of the volume I order.

Leads on the other hand, best of luck!
