Medicare Guys, Whats Your Opinion on This Video.

If I may offer some constructive criticism.

Don't use industry jargon. Use language someone who knows nothing about Medicare would use. Or, at least, follow it by saying, "What this means is..."

Your facts are correct, but dry.

Remain very unbiased. For every beneficiary that doesn't like MA, there is one that does.

I am giving a Medicare information meeting (informal) tonight. I will make sure I take my own advise.

Opps,I should have said that this is not me. I was doing some research last night and I found this on youtube. I was surprised at the comments that were made on Youtube from the people that watched it. One even said that Medicare supplements ARE NOT guaranteed renewable. Lots of bad info out there.

Meetings are the way I am going to market next year too. I have 1 scheduled at the nearby Kawanis club the third week of January, and I would say that I'm a bit nervous but I am hoping that once I've done it, it wil be easy the next time.

Some of the points about MedicareAdvantage were incorrect. MA is offered at the county level, so plan types and benefits vary. Some carriers offer a POS, PPO, PFFS or HMO. The video did seem to want to sway prospects towards MedSupp (which is fine), but just like what Bob suggested, put the prospect in the right type of plan that meets their needs.

Maybe it was a fluke but it seemed like it was pretty easy to do

Wich is it your first Group meeting or your second or third?

I actually have concerns about speaking in front of a group of 50 or so people. Not something that I have done before except at church. Small meetings of 5-10 people felt like the same as a meeting with 1-2 people. I have to admit that the 2 AT-HOME meetings were not uite as good as I thought they would be. I only took 2 GI apps yesterday, for a total of 5 out of 9. But I will get it figured out because it is fun, and I enjoy it. Not a problem.

Let's call them AT-HOME meetings, and SOCIAL GROUP MEETINGS. 2 different beast I would think, still trying to figure it out.

Thank you for asking.
