Mercury Insurance in Arizona

Does anyone on here have experience with Mercury on AZ? What is their pricing like? Good markets?

Can't speak for AZ, but I'm dumping them here in GA. My homeowner's premium jumped 80%.

rates SUCK in AZ, i have like 3 policies with them,

Always pretty high.

I had them for 4 years. Very inconsistent in their premiums and high rate increases even with no claims. Other companies were lowering their auto premiums or maintaining, Mercury raised mine every year. I finally fired them.

Homeowners, same story. Started at $850/yr by year 4 they were wanting to renew for $1500/yr.

Lol not terrible credit, not perfect. Maybe one ticket or accident. Middle aged, rents. Etc.

I heard mercury had high rates in AZ. In CA they are very competitive especially if you have a ticket.

Also I notice progressive in AZ not so stellar rate.

Interesting. Safeco is my only solid carrier for these types of prospects and they will eventually have to take rate.

Any advice from other AZ agents on who to add?

In Southern CA, this is true. Northern, not as much. Mercury is good, but they kickbutt in the south.
