Two dialer systems: Mojo or Dolphin: Which works the best and why?
If you are using one of these or did I am in need of information as to which direction to go. Am in need of information NOT other options or opinions as these are the two choices given.

They're different systems.

Mojo is a hosted solution which allows for multiple outbound lines at a time using their servers. That does not require you to have a phone line and generally it's going to help you move through numbers more quickly than the dolphin dialer. It's also more expensive.

Dolphin is much less expensive after the second month because of the setup fee, but it is actually using your computer to process the calls. I believe it does only allow for single line dialing though which would probably be it's largest limitation.

Mojo, used the others including the green mamba and I found that the ones on that site just were buggy. Never had an issue with mojo, until they raised their price 50%.
But they are still the best system I have tried yet.

p.s. callfire sucks. Reporting sucks, so does the interface....

Hands down Mojo is better. They are about to roll out a web based dialer with a lot more features (being able to search the notes of your contacts is one I am glad to see).

who would want a dialer that only calls 1 line at once? that's insane. I know some people do it, but to me the biggest advantage to a dialer is being able to leverage your time through multiple lines.

Mojo has a good dialer, already released their web-based dialer (ACE), but the biggest thing I hear from users is that it is a little complicated to use. Now this could be based on user computer literacy level, but those who dial one line at a time are still doing better than hand dialing. Slow and steady wins the race. Also, I believe Dolphin charges you for each time you download it even if you are an existing customer so that should be a point of consideration.

I think the biggest thing is to find a dialer that does most of what you want, at a price that it fair, but most importantly is easy to use. Simple and easy is always good and plenty of options out there. Hope you find what you're looking for.

One nagging issue I had with them was the person's name will display when dialing/connecting but not also the business name. I want both pieces of info to be displayed when dialing. They had a patch for this issue by having me put the business name in another field. Still...

They're working on adding that line on mine. It seems like an obvious thing to do, but in all fairness I suppose it's cosmetic so I can see how the developers would miss it.

I'm sure mojo will take good care of you. The good thing about actually owning your own dialer like mojo and ourselves versus white labeling some else's is that it can be changed on-the-fly any time to cater to customers' needs.

I understand you're "still..." comment, but odds are no dialer will give an agent everything they want. Many good dialers out there, but you just hope to find a dialer that does most everything, at a fair price and imo is easy to use b/c if it's not easy people get discouraged.
