Monumental Solutions Being Phased Out on March 18

I certainly not going to pay for applications from the companies when they send them for free.

I keep a good supply of all the apps. And reorder as needed.

There's more literature than just the application when you present a company. If myou have to order that stuff why not go ahead and order applications?

I do use company brochures if they have nice ones.

I guess another reason I started using printed apps is because I sell in two states and some company apps are hard to keep track of which state it's for. I have that imprinted on mine also. Keeps me from screwing up.

I do like American Continental's app being in a folder with the brochure, rate card, RX guide, replacement forms, etc. all in one place. If they all did that, I probably wouldn't print my own.

I thought you had apps on ipad? That is what I would like to transition.

My problem is not only multiple states but multiple companies in multiple types of insurance. Add so many companies changing apps lately. It is a pain to go through supplies to up date. I have had too many apps to redo.

I do have many set up that way but I rarely use it anymore. One of the companies told me that since the place where they sign doesn't have lawyer-talk telling them that by digitally signing it is the same as signing on a piece of paper, it COULD cause a problem down the road if they wanted to cancel their policy several years down the road. I don't need that problem.

I still have some rarely used forms and companies on it.

I just set up the Americo ipad program on my ipad Friday. I did a test app on it but it seems very slow to use. I will carry that one with me because Americo is a company I rarely use. No need to lug their forms around now.

Remember too that with paper apps the sales process can be easier considering a great percentage of people will start filling out/signing the app when put in front of them with a pen.

Doing that and not doing one-legged appointments alone is enough to boost your sales. It's kinda hard to slide an iPad in front if somebody with the same intent as a paper app with pen. You won't get the same effect JMO
