More Info on Redbird Agents??

OK, here goes. After trawling (sorry, I'm from southeast Louisiana) around the forum for a couple months, my first post. I won't list all my details here, 'cause they're all on my profile page. I had just about narrowed it down between Newby and gang w/ FEX, or Joe in FL w/ EFES. Then yesterday or the day before I saw comments from one, Pete Cormie, about Redbird. Their website looks intriguing, but no mention of contracts or lead costs. I've been called back by one person informing me he was a principal but wouldn't get into any of the details I was looking for. Said he would get Zack to call me back, but haven't heard anything yet. Does anyone on the forum have any notion of their percentages. Are they more like EFES or instead like Senior Advisors ( I think that's their name). Or do they offer contracts in the same range as Todd or Newby? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I wouldn't be concerned with the unknown company. Plenty of people speaking highly of FEX on here as well as EFES. No reason to roll the dice with Redbird.

I am not clear why you are even considering EFES over FEX contracting unless you need extensive training. The contracts will be without a doubt better with FEX. EFES is great, but if you have experience, there are better options.

+1 on that ^^^^

If you are new & need more hand holding, Id go with EFES, if not, Id go with FEX. I tried going with FEX, didnt work out for me, but Id recommend them.

Thanks guys for the feedback. It seems no one has anything to say about Redbird Agents.Zack called not long after I posted yesterday. Sounds like good numbers 110- 115, w/ lead costs in line with any other place you would drop your own mailers (410 per 1000). Or preset appts. for $15 ea., 10 min., or free lists to work from. Sounds almost too good to be true, and you know what that usually means. The players are Todd and Drew Gurley and Bob Breibart. Anybody know anything about any of them from past experience.

The level of your experience will be the primary factor in determining how Redbird contracts with you. If you are new to FE and need help establishing your business, we will set you up with the support you'll need to succeed. We have a great website with lots of tools and tips to help you start and we do "ride alongs" to show you how to make the sale. Weekly training calls are also available. We hold your hand while you need it, then increase your contracts when you don't need us so much.

If, however, you are more established and are looking for contracts only, we can do that too. At levels at least as rich as any others available. You also get the website and calls if you want them at those levels.

I'm the Regional Manager in the Northeast, so LA is not my area, but I'm sure you'll hear from someone very soon.

Chk ya inbox, no need in going over it publicly.

I didn't feel we had any drama.

Our model is this: If an agent wants in on our Friday calls and website access, they need to be producing with our main companies.

If you don't have your main contracts with us, there's not much chance you will you will sell any of it for us.

If an agent already has an up line they are real happy with, we don't expect them to come to us. But you also can't expect us to train you how to sell with 5-Star, Americo, Settlers, and our other main companies but give the over-ride WE are working for to other agencies. It wouldn't make any business sense for either of us.

It would be the exact same if you had one of your FE leads tell you when you called them, I want you to come out and teach me about the product and qualify me for the right company but when I'm ready to buy I have a nephew that I write the deal through.
Is there any real difference?

We want fewer agents than most FMOs are after but more volume from each agent.

It's definitely not a business model that works for everybody. We don't expect it to be.

We have a lot of agents who just have a contract or two with us. They don't want to be in on the training. And that's fine with us.

We like everybody. We just can't take on everybody. We have to be profitable just like everyone else.
