More Info on Redbird Agents??

I didn't feel we had any drama.

Our model is this: If an agent wants in on our Friday calls and website access, they need to be producing with our main companies.

If you don't have your main contracts with us, there's not much chance you will you will sell any of it for us.

If an agent already has an up line they are real happy with, we don't expect them to come to us. But you also can't expect us to train you how to sell with 5-Star, Americo, Settlers, and our other main companies but give the over-ride WE are working for to other agencies. It wouldn't make any business sense for either of us.

It would be the exact same if you had one of your FE leads tell you when you called them, I want you to come out and teach me about the product and qualify me for the right company but when I'm ready to buy I have a nephew that I write the deal through.
Is there any real difference?

We want fewer agents than most FMOs are after but more volume from each agent.

It's definitely not a business model that works for everybody. We don't expect it to be.

We have a lot of agents who just have a contract or two with us. They don't want to be in on the training. And that's fine with us.

We like everybody. We just can't take on everybody. We have to be profitable just like everyone else.

Do you know if Settlers has any intention of coming into Utah? I would love to have them if they do.

No. They slowly add a state or two every once in a while. I haven't heard about Utah being on their radar.

I didn't either Newby, that's why I recommended you in the post previous to that... Just didn't wanna go over why in public.

I didn't take your post as negative. I just thought it would be a good time to explain our model because it does cause some confusion sometimes.

+1 on that ^^^^

If you are new & need more hand holding, Id go with EFES, if not, Id go with FEX. I tried going with FEX, didnt work out for me, but Id recommend them.

TDF, I'm in Ca, looking to get into final expense, and was considering MIG(EFES)
I am an experienced salesman, just not in insurance, so I would need some hand holding, training and support to get me started. I would want to go through Shannon Davey if I did sign with MIG.

Did you start as a newby with EFES? How was the training? Are you still with them and (if you don't mind) are you making enough money to justify the lead cost?

Jd, requested I reach out to you since you are under Shannon and live in Ca.

From what I've read, you seem to speak highly of them. If there's anything you would like to keep off the boards, feel free to send me a PM.
