WOW! Only 23% of New York City Doctors are part of ObamaCare health insurance policy medical networks? Is that what this article is saying?

There are so many things wrong Ocare, so many ways this train can jump the track.

Even without all of the "glitches", the public will overwhelmingly reject this piece of crap.

I wouldn't stake my livelihood on Ocare, especially HIX business.

On top of that, my limited experience was that about half the doctors that were supposedly on these Obamacare networks weren't actually taking that insurance either so the networks are smaller than they appear. The companies' provider lists aren't up to date. No surprise there - they don't have much incentive to remove doctors; aside from being bad for marketing, if you go to an OON doc they're off the hook for paying for your care. This matters more now with things changing fast and doctors dropping the ACA plans with poor reimbursement rates.

Most successful NYC doctors don't want to take managed care and they can afford not to. This has been happening for years. It's not and obamacare thing.
