I was told that moo has a new FE product out (or is soon to release one). Are they any good? I was set up with them a couple years ago but never used them. How is their underwriting? Do they do a telephone interview (if so is it required)? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

do a quick search on this forum, about their product, and you will find a thread that talks in great length about it...Good luck

Probably talking about the Living Promise FE. Looks good, rates are good. Liberal ht/wt. hehe

I'm pretty new to the forum and am having a tough time finding what I'm looking for using the search tool. Guess I'm just a simpleton!

The only REAL negative to agents selling MOO FE is that they HEAVILY mail the Mutual of Omaha Guaranteed issue FE product to seniors over and over. The rates for many people will be cheaper on the GI product.

So some agents have experienced cancelations from sales due to they got the same offer (incorrect but they think they did) in the mail at a cheaper price.

It makes it harder to sell against if they can buy the brand you are recommending cheaper by cutting you out of the deal.

A good reason to poison the water before you leave a home.:1wink:

It's a nice product with a number of positives... depending on what state you're in, it may be there already or coming soon. We got it recently in FL and I've probably done about 5 or 6 so far. Good underwriting, quick turnaround. No PHI required, issued from ages 45-85, diabetes-friendly (insulin ok). Competitive rates and well-known company.

Thanks for the info. I'm in FL also and will have to take a closer look at them.

Don't forget that nice 115% commission level. Not too shabby. And the online e-application makes it even better. Just wish their underwriting was a "little" more lenient....in same ways it's great, but I have had cases they declined and others issued at level. But that's every carrier in one way or another. That's the beauty of being independent....having several to choose from to make sure your client is getting the best product based on their situation.
