MY Experience with Internet Leads

I thought I would post my experience with some internet Life lead services I have used.

So far I have used insureme, netquote, javlin, and abc leads.

All with not a single sale. javlin was a complete scam and me and 3 other guys in my office complained and got our money back.

abc leads were exclusive and expensive $40 a pop I belive, I only got 3 leads in the 2 months I was with them and dropped the service.

Me and a few other guys were with both insureme and netquote and got a bunch of leeds but few sales. It seemed like people were just quote shopping and not really serious.

I had no luck at all, and another guy in my office who is amazing on the phone, down right amazing salesman got 1 sale out of probabbly a 100 leads.

I don't know if there is a decent lead service out there or not.

I tried health leads a few years ago. You get a vast majority of people just shopping. I have had much better luck with Senior Health leads--people 65 and over. They are almost always doing more than just looking. I spent a TON of money on the bad lead companies before I found one that worked really well. Keep plugging away and testing until you find something that works. Also, follow-up is key.

Start over but pick zip codes within five miles of your office.

As your confidence and experience increases, expand your radius.

Works most of the time.

Who is Javlin? I've never heard of them. 1 sale out of 100 leads? I would think you could call random numbers out of the phone book and do at least that well.

I know of one really good lead service but I'm admittedly biased.

Mike, I recently visited your website.

On the "Agents and Brokers" page, I saw a sign-up form for a "price list by email". I filled it out and submitted it.

Never received a price list by email, but some guy did start hammering me with phone calls. Never have received the price list by email.

The process feels manipulative, and dishonest.

I had the EXACT same experience yesterday... Didn't much care for it either.

One would think... that IF any company is NOT going to do what they advertise on their website, then why would you assume that they would deliver otherwise...? But hey, maybe they could get lucky... but luck will win you a Cupie doll at the county fair, not consistent leads.
