MYGAs would appear to be the only annuities you could sell without seeing someone in person. Is anyone selling MYGAs or any other annuities solely online, by phone or through the mail?

Why is that the only annuity you can do over the phone? I didn't think that was an actual insurance law?

Immediate annuities are actually the easiest to sell, without actually meeting the Client.....

Selling annuities over the phone is not your best strategy. Better to find an efficient way to meeting clients in person. If you want to sell over the phone, sell life insurance.

I've sold many annuities to "Clients" over the phone via e-sig, fax or email from VA, to FIA straight fixed etc. It can be done but what I find is required in any annuity sale is trust..... Many of my phone sales have been "Hey John I've got an idea concerning $x that benefits you more than $y, brief description and if they want it I email over the info....in most cases it leads tothe app right on the phone.
