Is the insurance marketplace generally saturated? Are there really new customers out there to whoo with exciting new products. Or is this business just about stealing a customer from another agent or carrier with an initial low premium..??

A sharp person can do very well in this business and enjoy a good retirement.

The only kind of saturation there is, is with incompetent or immoral agents.

There are plenty of people in America that needs to buy insurance. It depends on which kind of insurance. If you are talking about Life Insurance, then there are over 60 million Americans that need to buy life insurance for the 1st time.

If if pick the right companies and products, it would be hard for another agent to come in behind you and take your client away.
