Need a Market for a Daycare

I have a potential client here in New York, operates a licensed daycare out of her home. She has 14 kids and two employees. Cannot find a market that writes daycare centers.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You're part of SIAA right? use the APS Market Finder or go through Access Plus.

Thanks I didn't think about the APS, but my group will not allow me to send any commercial through access plus. After 3 years they still feel I am not qualified for the commercial stuff, if I send it over they will not quote it. I have 2 regional carriers I contracted on my own for commercial but they are pretty standard, no daycares.

I knew NOTHING about commercial & they handled it the same way at first. I asked a local commercial producer to explain Acord forms to me & spent about an hour talking w/ him. In that hour I was able to take away enough to put together Acord apps. Then I'd send in Acord apps to them (maybe w/ minor errors...) and they started slowly working w/ me. Now it's all good to go. That would be a good start.

USLI does Daycares. Philadelphia is also big on them.

While we are the largest writer of Daycares .. we are not a market for in home operations.

While this practice is becoming popular, we are not a fan of the controls or lack there of on the abuse coverage side on the in home exposures.

At least you guys include the abuse. A lot of my carriers that write daycares exclude corporal punishment.
