Definitely send them the reciepts. Any improvement you can get is good, I just have ran into situations where my insureds expected to be reimbursed for these at close to 100%, which is what I was trying to say probably won't happen. Sounds like you realized this already.
Car valuations are usually done on actual sales, not on cars listed for sale. Sometimes those numbers are close, sometimes not. Its easy to find cars for sale that are overpriced, which skews the real value. Not saying this is the case here, but it comes up a lot more often than you might realize.
