Need Help to Be an Independent L&H Agent in Westchester, NY

I just got my NY State Life Insurance License and am studying to get my Health License. I want to be an independent agent. I need some advise and suggestions on this will be greatly appreciated!

Go to ehealthinsurance.com

Put in you're zip and age....

Make a note of the premiums...

Then change you're zip to an out of state one like....90210

See the price difference?

NY is GI state.....

Get a non resident license in another state.

Sell life or Medicare products. Either that, or get your non-res in another state and sell there. Not much money to be made in the virtually non-existant individual market or group health there.

Try to enter a state which is not saturated like Florida, Cali, etc

If you are looking to sell life insurance in NY you will find out there are very few.

Final Expense companies are even more scarce.
