Lady's 77 -- stents in one leg (not heart) done 2 months ago -- just started insulin treatments, like 2 weeks ago (ugh).

Looking for some type of immediate coverage.

Monumental's a no-go (insulin + circulatory surgery) -- American Memorial's standard rate applies only to 75 and younger.

Does anyone take diabetics on insulin with a leg stent done within the past year for immediate coverage?

Thanks for any guidance.

Vantis Life 50-80 issue ages for Pure Guaranteed issue only 2 year ROP, full face in 3rd year. 5, 10 or 15k plans.

Takes forever to get appointed (4-6 Months) though, best to refer it out.

Monthly Rate for 77f (last age) is $93.53 for 10K

The stent is the biggest problem. No immediate coverage for her. Might get a graded somewhere. I didn't take time to look at all of them.

I'll hijack this thread to add my own: prospect was just declined by a fully underwritten carrier. The paramed showed diabetes with an A1C of 11.1. The client had no idea and as such, it has not been treated.

I was told that with treatment, this client could qualify for Table 2 at best in a year. Given the decline and the A1C level now on his MIB, are there any final expense options available other than guaranteed options?

Yes. Most of the FE carriers would do immediate coverage. Barring any other health problems, of course.
