I spoke to one of my NQ leads this afternoon. No medical conditions listed.

She was uninsurable. Bad affiliate lead or she lied to NQ. Hard to say.

My credit request was denied. Netquote told me moments ago that they will NO LONGER CREDIT LEADS WHERE THE APPLICANT LIED OR THE AFFILIATE PROVIDED INNACURATE MEDICAL INFORMATION.

At first, I thought it was a joke. It wasn't.

Whoa Nelly, I was just about to reactivate my account with them!

Thanks so much for the heads up!

interesting. I wonder if an affiliate has the capability to scrub the quote request form - prospect notes cancer, that info disappears and it sold as a clean lead.

Maybe I should add this...NQ also told me for (for the second time in a week) that they are making a MASSIVE effort to reign in rogue affiliates.

If they can do this, I'll live with the goofy credit policy. But, it would seem to be quite a task.

"I wonder if an affiliate has the capability to scrub the quote request form"

I also have always wondered about that.

I've got a bunch of those type leads in the process of verification myself.

So far I haven't had one refused, but I will not hold my breath now.

I'm sure somewhere along the line, these leads can get scrubbed.

If that's the way they want to treat the customer, then I will just add up my last bill total, subtract the leads that are denied, and tell them that's all thats available in my account and they have three days to make the withdraw.

They can take it or leave it. Move on to the next lead vendor.

They're the ones who are having the problem and trying to place the burden of proof on the end user. The problem lies at the beginning of the lead process, not the end.

They just need to simply deduct these bad leads from their affiliates payments, that would solve the problem.

They shouldn't reward stupidity, greed and fraud, on the backs of their customers.

If you are sold a lead outside of your agreed parameters and filters I don't see how they can refuse credit. This is basically illegal in any other contract situation.

What a joke.

Where is Mike?

Welcome to my use of the debit card:

"I received X amount and X number are bad per your guidelines. Since you are refusing to honor your guidelines "X" dollars is available on my card. You can draft that amount or we can head to court. Your choice."

The other thing of concern...click on this link: (Mypoints)

Cookies are Required

Essentially, a website where you build up points to win prizes (I assume that's what it is). Click on "Personal Finance" and you'll see that you earn 5 points offered by Netquote. In fact, you see them all over this website. Is this what they call "incentivized marketing"???
