New Agency

I have been captive as a producer for an Allstate agency for one year now. From what I understand it is pretty much impossible to start an independent agency without a current book (which I don't have)

Does anyone know of any brokers in Michigan that are willing to work with new agents?

You can go through an Aggregator (as they call it) that has some great Companies you can access but there will be some larger upfront costs and monthly fees. If you are just looking for Commercial Lines, there are some Online Wholesalers that have good markets for a low monthly fee and a cut of the commission.
