New Agent Wants to Sell Term Over Phone

Hello there,

Im a new 215 agent of 6months and would like to sell term/ perm life over the phone. I dont know which companies are best to contract with.. please let me know

I am paralyzed from the torso down, Im limited as to what i can do. A friend of mine encouraged me to get my license I did so hoping this could be an avenue for me to get back a position with limited physical activity. In the past before my accident I was in pharmeceutical sales door to door entreprenuer. Im great at door to door sales..but now I must get into selling over the phone.

What companies could I contract with to sell term and receive their incomming calls?

When you say receiving their incoming calls, do you mean inbound order-taking and selling? If so, that will limit you and you might need to not worry about the actual carriers but the businesses you would be working for. I don't have much experience there.

Assurity, Fidelity, Mutual of Omaha, those are a few good ones. You need to have some that DON'T need a paramed, and some that DO. You will also find this a little harder to do with cold-calling, so try seeing if you can get an affiliation going. Perhaps an office with a mortgage broker, or getting some kind of lead source where people can make a reasonable connection on why you are calling. It's not impossible, but it has its own brand of hurdles.

Go onto an IMO website that has some kind of comparative quote system.A lot of those mention which companies do e-apps like iGO e-app, drop boxes, and things like that.

However, MOST companies are cool with doing things on the phone. sometimes they need things faxed back and forth but DONT require a wet signature. You just have a paper app to fill out and then fax off to the carrier and then make the client sign things, too. E-app is more convenient, but don't let those things come between you and a good company.

He will help you get started, or point you in the right direction.... also daytona guy does FE phone sales, what part of fla. do you live in..

You can sell almost all term carriers with an EZ-app system. I strongly suggest you contact Jeff Root (949) 480-9638. He can help you with lead systems and online applications.

A lot of the top term companies offer ability to sell over the phone and most now offer some form of e-app process....check out Ipipeline's iGO system...may work for you.

Balitmore Life has a good inspeed program that does this also.

You can sell almost any company over the phone..If they require a Medical Exam, have the Examiner collect signatures for you, and have them fax back...Other wise, do the applications over the phone and e-apps as others have already suggested....

Me too. I just got a new hip last Saturday but already am walking and driving.

Maybe we don't have that much in common after all.
